Shipyard Mechanical Supervisor Job Description

To supervise workers on site
Assist in planning of manpower and materials to meet project schedule.
Perform daily site supervision on ships and workshop to ensure quality and productivity of operations
Ensure compliance with safety standards
Resolve workflow and technical issues
Ensure quality of work and fulfillment of contractual requirements
Prepare the required manpower, tools and equipment for the project.
Monitor project progress and attended the client progress meetings.
Identify the route cause delay and prepare the backup plans
Submit the time to time project feedback to project manager
Candidate has very good communications skills
Knowledge of all the international standards (ARAMCO and SABIC) mechanical works.

Diploma or B.E. Mechanical or ITI Candidates can apply for this position

Candidate must have Minimum 3 years of experience in the shipyard industry

Contract Duration

One Year (Renewable)

It is a Full Time Position. Contract will be initially for a period of One Year, which is extendable for further periods upon mutual agreement.
Over time Payment : Extra, as per the company rules for any extra hours worked over and above normal working hours of 8 hours per day (6 days week)
Accommodation : Shared Bachelor Accommodation free of cost in the company’s furnished Bachelor Quarters near the yard.
Annual Leave : 22 / 26 days with salary & Air Ticket, once in a year (Upon completion of 12 months of continuous service) to your home country during your annual vacation.
